That is the question I have been presented with over the last week. I just finished my thesis and now I am wondering "why is my computer open?" "Why is facebook not as time consuming?" "What should I be doing in my new town of Phoenix, AZ?"
I know many of you might be wondering what a silly question this is, but what you likely do not understand is for the last two years I had been working tirelessly with my friend as we each finish our thesis projects. I know this sounds like a long time, however, tackling topics of gender, education, and relationships AND working with qualitative data (ie. spending almost a year of my time in a high observing and interviewing girls) there is a lot to work with. Ultimately, my thesis has totally just under 120 pages.
With all that said I decided to start my blog up again. What will it be about? I have no clue. I have friends who are witty and anything they write about it interesting to read. I have friends writing about their families. I have friends writing about cooking. And I have friends who stopped updating their blogs.
So what will I do? Maybe a little bit of everything. Over the next 6 months I will be planning a wedding, trying to cook more at home, and taking on whatever new activities I can think of to keep busy.
Hopefully you all will follow along in this adventure with me. No promises it will always be interesting, but not all adventures are.
